This is our submission for the HEADSET exhibition night featuring the best of Sydney's artists as they illustrate the benefits of cycling and positive mental health.
The Australian Museum is the oldest museum in Australia, with an international reputation in the fields of natural history and anthropology.
The museum offers free entry to children under five years of age. They required a creative look and feel that tied together their various programs and exhibitions under the Little Kids At The Australian Museum banner.
Parents, nannies, guardians, influencers and media around young kids (under 5 years of age).
The tone and personality
The identity had to be inspirational, adventurous and knowledgable.
To create an illustrated identity that utilised the word 'kids' to communicate the fun, variety, and depth of the programs and exhibitions.
Our first attempt
Our initial idea featured a rocket ship 'i' and a mechanical 'd'.
Our second attempt
We changed the 'i' to an Egyptian statue and the 'd' to an indigenous painting.
Third time lucky
The 'd' now has an animal footprint as it's negative space and we have an approved logo!
